Tom Hollings

Executive Officer

Tom is the longstanding Executive Officer to the Coromandel Marine Farmers Association Inc. Tom also has 35 years experience in aquatic resource uses including; ecological impact and sustainability, maritime qualifications and safety, port development, coastal resource law and policy, stakeholder organisation and funding, and more. Tom has a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Marine Biology and is Coastal Yachtmaster & Dive Qualified.

Tom says he values and seeks good resource management and utilisation, for New Zealand, that respects our natural environment and enhances economic wellbeing and ideally also will enhance the fun and enjoyment in people’s lives. Aquaculture in Tom’s view is an ideal fit with all that. Tom says he has a lifetime passion for things aquatic, including sailing, farming and fishing.
